re: Ann: Carrick Board Strengthened with Free... Well let's attempt to address those three possible negatives.
    (1) If gold does plummet to $800 an ounce it would mean presumably that the US economy has recovered back to pre-GFC levels or similar. It would also mean demand from China and India and Russia and others would diminish. I think both scenarios are unlikely in the short to medium term. The American economy is being Mexicanised and their debts are crippling meanwhile India had been somewhat isolated from the GFC and its economy is doing quite well as is China's.The Chinese are buying ore and more gold. In the meantime gold is being pulled out of the ground and in-ground supplies are diminishing, making significant deposits all that rarer and more expensive to mine. If the price does go down the supply of new gold will reduce.
    (2) The current share price doesn't reflect any of the inferred resources and reflects only a portion of the measured and indicated reserves. It's likely that the final measured and indicated reserves will be less than four million ounces of the current resources/reserves but much more exploration work is still to be done. We may well end up with four million or more measured and indicated mineable ounces which would mean the $2 share price would itself look cheap. Four dollars would be nearer the mark then for a quick sale. The existing million plus ounces of measured and indicated reserves alone would justify a share price of $1.20.
    (3) If it rains gold nuggets you will need a steel umbrella and would probably mean the end of the world as we know it!
