I'm sure this is the case to some degree at least. I would prefer they put on hold the "long-bow" exploration until they have a seriously positive cashflow rather than risk running low on cash and have to go cap-in-hand to the market.
Cuca probably does not require too much development cost and seems they can access it (for exploration at least) via existing infrastructure so that may be why they are proceeding there now?
