I also missed this comment in the ASX release by Benny Wu which explains his intentions with regards to the offer more clearly, "I intend to accept the Offer in respect of all of my
shares in RCI, in the absence of a superior proposal."

So it looks like this deal is going through on the back of Benny Wu's holding alone, so long as both Chinese and Australian regulatory bodies approve and this new found bidder doesn't vanish into thin air like previous ones.
