    From my understanding, the benefit comes from ANZ and other banks having customers that already use them to make transactions.

    So ANZ might have 2million customers in Australia with a VISA card. This card could automatically have Cashrewards attached to it and the customer automatically signed up through ANZ.

    CBA already have a cashback system so it isn't a far stretch to believe ANZ might do that same.
