I've never said anything about shorting or shorters. In fact short interest on stock is very low, there is no borrow on the market. Even if there was the fees would likely be huge. I have zero interest in shorting activity as it's totally irrelevant.
As I mentioned, according to ASX disclosure rules and guidance, major contracts should be disclosed to market. This qualifies. Even if it's totally irrelevant, a company can disclose whatever it likes. They often do not, as it has to have sign off from board, verification etc.
Your job as an investor is to determine what this means for the value of the company. Blabbing on about how you think their announcement was disingenuous won't get you very far... Also the market is pretty ruthless, it doesn't care if you bought CAT at $4 and now you're underwater. All it cares about is where things go from here.
