Great to hear your thoughts @Petersburggray... you clearly have been involved with VAN/SGI for a long time...
Having also been involved with CYL for many years, one thing I'd say about their management team is that they have always been ultra conservative (almost frustratingly so)... and I'm sure they have done a lot of DD (operationally, geologically, even funding it) before committing to this deal... all of which will definitely reduce the risks significantly.
No question that there are normally cost overruns in construction... could even be 25%, but I would expect that this is included in the $36m estimate as it is so recent.... and even if there is some overrun and it does cost another $8-10m, its still nothing compared to what the massive upside is...
