Debt reduction and T/O consolidation is what normal management teams do as part of their day to day job!

Furthermore (and once again) the announcement is misleading and ambiguous to shareholders and investors: Firstly the $28m debt is the total debt from both VAN and SGI. This announcement implies it's all Vango debt. Its not. Secondly this and previous announcements imply that the inherited debt of $28m was unknown and just mysteriously popped up post T/O. CYL knew the total debt situation during their DD 20 months ago. So BOD please stop with the sanctimonious BS that this is a 'surprise' that you 'inherited' this debt out of the blue. As CYL BOD are aware all shareholders of both VAN and SGI knew that the T/O acceptance price was discounted heavily by taking into consideration this amount of debt otherwise CYL would have 'paid' more for both companies. Lastly the bold heading of only 2590oz of gold debt remaining fails to mention that this was a decision and transaction that CYL instigated to pay out the con note with a new debt arrangement with Auramet. This was decision made by CYL no other. A year since the T/O is now past, so when is the CYL BOD going to stop blaming the companies that they acquired at bargain prices and start giving us monthly news of production, cash flow, lowering AISC and finally how are they going to improve our current dismal market cap of $220m with peers around the $2B mark?

Definately price sensitive. The debt overhang has weighed on the share price. This shows the continual improvement of the balance sheet to the point of almost debt free and plenty of cash in the coffers. Onwards and upwards now, and market seems to agree its price sensitive up 7%.
