I would hardly call Argentina a third world country, its a beautiful place with a very developed economy that unfortunately suffers from a large amount of corruption at the top.
I've been to many football games over there and they take it far more seriously than Australia does, stadiums are consistently packed
- as a point of reference the average argentinian premier league player gets a salary of 309,000 USD, the average A League soccer players gets a a salary of 180,000 AUD. So I'd say the $ value of the catapult contract would still be significant
