Or not. Remember they never actually dug up anything better than halfway decent with the ruby - and we had no clear idea of the resource except for hope based on the neighbours. Much better data available for these commodities - they're just easier to map and also (crucially) put a market value on. ... Like 60 Mil, as they have just done.
Edison wouldn't put their neck out unless they had decent data to start with. We had nothing like this for the ruby - and there no way a reputable firm would even have considered it with the ruby.
