Given the big jumps by Largo lately and them riding out the current sell down, it wouldn't hurt their position to have a look at taking out some of the small new players to keep Vanadium off the market. There is some debate in the Chengdu circuit on that, which is probably going to drive finance towards players like AVL who are in discussions there right now. (I was hoping for an AVL Trading Halt from them today on that basis but maybe monday now? relevant by association to V2O5 finance discussions)Â Preemptory, you would say that the likelihood of the Chinese market investing in with rights and/or TO options would be higher with a perceived threat like Largo entertaining 4Q positioning ideas. NXE is not AVL and is not that far down the track yet, but cheap to drive a conditional position into.
It will be interesting to see what the flavor of discussions are, and then benchmark. With the debate and activity this week in China and Toronto, I would be disappointed in status quo.
