Just out of curiosity how did you know that the company had no rubies going into the auction? Nobody in the ruby industry knew this or else they would not have wasted their time flying to Mauritius to look at some pinkish gravel.

The amazing thing about MUS is nobody saw what happened in advance because nobody could imagine that a company would do something this silly. I lost a lot of money on MUS, but even in hindsight I couldn't pick such an outcome based on the data at the time. I suspect even CJ & CVW can't explain it.
