As for the politicians being banked by the Big 4 banks, it must be hard as a borrower to make laws, enforce or represent the people in front of the banks to whom they are millions of dollars indebted to.
All the politicians have a basic conflict of interest for all the banks, they should ensure the banks are properly policed and those that misbehave like CBA, NAB and so forth are broken up.
Too big to fail is also too big to be held to account.
