If CBA was fined billions and went out of business, the other major banks can be invited to buy out CBA's assets in just the same way CBA bought out BankWest just after the GFC.
Tongue in cheek, the fine to be handed out should be in the quantum sufficient to fully fund the Royal Commission of Inquiry into financial institutions.
In this connection, CBA should be made to issue a bank guarantee to cover the FULL cost of the RCI.
