The national electricity grid line finishes in the township of Nomgon which is only about 25 kilometres from the well. Not too far to run a cable and would be a benefit for the local Government.

Looking at the bigger picture down the track after EXR has been taken over I can see when the Russian pipeline has been built to supply gas to China it would offload gas to townships in the northern areas of Mongolia and wells in the Soutg Gobi area would then replenish the pipeline before it arrives in China.

Yeah as long as the plant is engineered with the right switchgear/switchyard flr expansion. I think the Clarke Energy plants Ive seen in Central QLD are Jenbacher engines. 3MW each. Tried and tested and do the job on dirtier mine drainage gas with very little scrubbing. Low pressures as well, around 30kpa inlet pressures. The engines fuel gas is like 7kpa? It wouldn't be hard to feed them from Nomgon field.

All we need is the gas and its on.
