I think the best way to get a BNPL on board is for the regulators and financial counsellors to start to make some noise again about how much the BNPL's make from late payment fees. For example Afterpay made $68.8 million or 13.25% of total income from late fees in the 19/20 full financial year, If the heat was growing on them with relation to this figure CCR could go in with this amazing solution that works with the consumer and is less confrontational. (Note I do not know the current workings of the Afterpay collections procedure)
