Old news but how do we feel about this? Is it purely positive, in that it should be extra motivation for management if they want to see that money back? I've seen directors make loans to companies before but is this amount normal on the ASX?

In the latest annual report they mention "future capital raisings in the 2021 financial year...funds raised will be for general corporate working capital, to advance the Cachoeiras do Binga Copper Project and the Cage Bengo Gold Project...VDM also intends on advancing other potential business growth opportunities, and to repay the shareholder loan."

They also talk about looking into trading opportunities, and finally, looking into opportunities focused on supporting Chinese companies operating in Oz with construction requirements.

Will be interesting to see what exactly they go with. Apparently they were into construction back in the day.
