Massive jump in CDC valuation from Sept to Dec, but I do have concerns about the costs - paper valuation jump results in additional real cost of around $90 million increased incentive payments to management.
That’s a $90 mill cash drain on the company and whilst I’m all for incentives for performance I would also rather see a chunk of that cash either paid out in divvies to the owners (you and me) or reinvested into the business.
