I got burnt badly by “blue chip” investments in a few infrastructure stocks during the GFC. Some of them went from paying a decent divvy to being wiped out in a matter of months & I got slaughtered.
I’ve been reluctant ever since although every now and then I look at something (e.g. toll roads) and get tempted to pull the trigger as a cyclical play, positioning for traffic to rebound Post COVID but it’s just not my thing any more.
