I seem to recall an AHF announcement (or AFH, ha ha!) around the time that they bought CDC, saying that they were receiving a lower payment from Fonterra for their raw milk, compared with what they were paying for raw milk to supply CDC. So, there should be some significant cost savings from now processing our own milk. As for the various segregations, increasing the capacity of CDC should reduce these through scale. IMO
