Much depends on the availability of the renewable resource. Northern Europe have poor wind and solar and in many cases not a lot of suitable available land, that would be better suited for agriculture. By contrast Townsville, being dry tropics with an average of 300 days per year, have possibly the world's best solar resources and plenty of nearby anarable available land. As I mentioned the trucks will be used constantly being fullly loaded in both directions. Battery trucks would need to be sidelined for recharging, whereas the hydrogen trucks can be refilled quickly. Sun Metals have done their homework for this refinery and believe their on the right track.
