Look for a fundamentally good story, but where the trading is in a holding pattern waiting for the next development, with just a hint of uncertainty so retail players are not game to buy.
Raid the thin sell side orders and drive the price down on not huge volume. Buy up the shares dropped from the stop losses.
Spin some BS on Hot Copper about insiders bailing out.
Place one or 2 big sell orders just above the trading range they want to pay, so any sellers have to sell into that lower range.
Then sow some more uncertainly on hot copper.
Accumulate at the desired price.
Hold for a short while. Announcement comes that was always coming. Sell. Nice profit!
Its price manipulation but they get away with it cos ASIC very rarely ever does anything about it. Only time I've ever seen a prosecution was when somebody was stupid enough to brag about their exploits on HC!!
