Well, if there was a major problem and obvious mistake then I would expect there would be leaks and so should the management and the ASX, Which is why in that situation they should immediately make an announcement which I am confident they would, especially under the current leadership. So no news should be good news.

Many years a go, a mate of mine working on a drilling rig bought into a small cap oil explorer who had an interest in the hole they were drilling. News had circulated on the rig that they had struck oil, and so price of this small cap should shoot up. But they failed to mention that the oil was in a formation from which it could not be extracted. When announcement came, the shares crashed. My guess is that the management - probably consisting of a handful of geologists, wanted to sell their shares before the crash, and even better sell them at a high price. They did not have to tell any lies, they just did not tell the whole truth.

My point is, even if there is inside trading, you don't know which it is going to go. It might be due to false information to drive price up before the crash, or to drive it down before the rise.
