"Woodside and Hazer do have history. They were original supporters and a substantial shareholder in Hazer's early years. I held Woodside and had high hopes that they would adopt the Hazer technology. Unfortunately they sold out of Hazer, around 2018 if I recall correctly"

Yes, and unfortunately they have barely mentioned "Hazer Who ?" , especially since, and no doubt because of the appearance of Geoff the Donkey W.

However, there was this very interesting article, which I think you will recall, especially notable for it's time of publication, from over 5 years ago which set things out very nicely. Interestingly the share price then was the same as it is now 38 c. The difference I like to think is that its now no longer "Hazer Who", but Hazer Group, we are definitely garnering more attention nowadays with the CDP operating IMO.

The article was co-authored by Michael Kuhni , Start Up Lead - Offshore Operations Readiness at Woodside Energy, and I daresay a drinking partner of Andrew C while at UWA.

It really is a must read article, and ground breaking IMO considering it was written more than five years ago when we were still pilot testing. Amongst other things, the authors wrote:

"One particularly interesting solution to the carbon capture problem is found in the Australian startup Hazer Group. Hazer is currently in the pilot stages of commercialising an innovative carbon-capture technology in which CO₂ production is completely avoided (see Figure 3). Based on methane cracking technology out of the University of Western Australia, the group aims to transform methane directly into graphite and hydrogen using a cheap iron ore catalyst. Such a process would eliminate the need for expensive CO₂ capture and has the potential to be disruptive if proven at larger scales. Successful development of these carbon abatement technologies could be a game-changer for fossil fuel companies seeking to adapt to our changing energy system. If this sleeping giant of the hydrogen economy is woken, it could lead to rapid and large-scale deployment of hydrogen energy globally."

Repeat: "If this sleeping giant of the hydrogen economy is woken, it could lead to rapid and large-scale deployment of hydrogen energy globally"
