This rang a little ding ding bell in my head. Just for accuracy, I think it is more like 3:1 (i.e. 3 tonnes graphite to 1 tonne hydrogen) because of how Mole conversion works. Now don't quote me on it since it has been >2 decades since I did any proper Uni chemistry, but check out this link https://www.lenntech.com/calculators/molecular/molecular-weight-calculator.htm
and Put CH4 in the calculator. Happy to be corrected by a proper chem person.
PS 3:1 is still a lot of graphite, however a quick google of the graphite market still puts it in the $15B range, with increased demand for battery grade.
