Invariably things go wrong during commissioning. That's when you need all hands on deck and an uninterrupted path to repair and maintenance parts and knowledge.
Not the type of environment that presents over Xmas holidays.
After everyone's back on the job and the festive dust has settled the time will be right to turn the CDP on, feed in all the ingredients and hopefully keep it bubbling away on song.
When the shit happens, and with new tech it should be expected to happen, you don't want to be calling the Maintenance Engineer, holidaying with extended family in central Africa or some other such out of the way destination, at 2.35 am.
Better to wait a couple of days/weeks until everything's optimal for a trouble free run up.
