What do you suggest, a solar/wind farm???? Just consider what it takes to create one, the manufacturing/installation etc, high cost / energy consumed, taking years to recoup costs. Why not use what is readily available first then top up where needed once you are in a position to start spending some of the revenue generated. You are forgetting that renewables require significant capital to get started.
