I’m a glass-half-full sort of person, which probably shows up at times in many of my posts, and I have also found in life that if it is a choice between a conspiracy or a stuff-up, always choose the stuff-up. You will invariably be proven right. So at the risk of pouring a little bit of cold water on the current excitement being enjoyed in these posts there is a point relevant to the timing of the Lyramid negotiations that I would like to make. Unfortunately it can probably be construed as being positive in nature. I apologise for that in advance to anyone it might offend.

Well said. The company has long indicated a timeline for Lyramid separation; the thing that that has emerged now is the mechanism. I have had concerns about the level of CEO remuneration but I would be very surprised if the suggestions of conspiracy were true. Having said that I am a supporter of shareholder activism and am happy for opponents of management to organise their arguments for an eventual showdown if one becomes inevitable.
