In the meantime, something of interest. A very large study on CKD risk in patients diagnosed with CVD (regardless of existing kidney risk factors) results published in Jan 2020:

Invokana (Janssen) has approval for extra indications for CKD/CVD.
This study highlights the need for screening for kidney disease in cardiac patients.
