The COC is a new process for British Standards Institute as they moved their office to the Netherlands to give the European CE Mark approval.
My guess is the 3 people on the COC weren't experts in pancreatic cancer or radiation therapy so they needed to see a much deeper analysis.
OncoSil submitted a literature review of 4,000 studies and also had more data read out on the study that BSI originally asked them to do from last year. The company put a summary of this in the AGM presentation last month and it was very impressive for me.
This has now met the requirements for approval and it is now a formality.
Those suffering from the insidious disease of pancreatic cancer will soon have an extra option on top of the chemo they receive.
