Just the ASX300 rebalance methought. So, indeed great timing Ocker... as the companies that are removed from the ASX300 fall away from the notice to the rebalance date but tend to pick straight back up after the rebalance date - with the converse being true for companies added to the ASX300, shoot up till the rebalance date (and especially the day prior the rebalance) and then crash back down after the rebalance date.
Happens all the friggin time, easy money. MCP should slowly climb back to it's usual trading mark of $3 a pop... perhaps the selling might be exhausted and it'll go to $4 - but that's hoping :(
