Appreciate the pessimistic view Ocker...
Though even with the pessimistic forecast, at $3.11, the eps represents a rate of return of 12.2%pa with 57% of that compounded 6 monthly. A typical savings account returns 6% compounded monthly.
Most of the selling recently has been done by AMP... and at the moment they're trading like headless chooks - blind Freddy could out-trade them. They're down 20% on the past quarter and their share price is sitting almost at the GFC lows. Who in their sane mind would invest in one of their funds or follow their trades on the market - just look at their change in substantial holder notices, buy high sell low! And they're almost finished selling their holdings in MCP :)
