I don't know much about AQQ, but IMO it is a good decision as it gives AXM more cashflow (very important), and also because allows for further exploration on AXMs projects, rather than having cash tied up in other companies, and hoping they know what they are doing.
But at the end of the day, it is all about return on cash invested. So they had better do something with the money that outperforms the previous investment.
