Did read that. Marketing angle will be no difference in survival between SIRT and SOR, but SIRT safe to use in cirrhosis and much better tolerated than SOR, giving patients a better quality of life. That pitch will increase dose sales.
About 33% of doses already off label, this is highly likely to increase before official regulatory approval in HCC.
Which treatment would you rather have if both have equivalent outcome? Plus you could always use SOR for salvage if progressing on SIRT.
