Thunderbird is fine, analysis and the DFS says it is fine, NPV and other metrics are fine. If you don't recognise that equity funding or the market pricing of developers is dependent on many other factors including timing the market, commodity and development cycles then I can't help you. You're welcome to an opinion, there's no screening entry requirements to HC.

The only place where luck isn't an issue is the fundamental economic analysis of a project. A pig is a pig, and no amount of ramping or lipstick will change that fact. Timing the market's development window is irrelevant to such projects, I'll see you around and remind you of it elsewhere then.
