Just done a quick add up from the transaction records,
Total of "Sale of securities by anentity controlled by Morgan Stanley" = 49063
Total of "Purchase of securities by an entity controlled byMorgan Stanley" = 78202
Total of "Borrow Returned by an entity controlled by Morgan Stanley" = 1113816
Total of "Collateral Received by an entity controlled by Morgan Stanley" = 71884
Assuming they have done some buy/sell trading and then mostly are short-cover (returned) and some they lent out and received back (received),
so the current holding from MUFJ as of reporting = 9712338-(1113816+49063)+(78202+71884) = 8699545
New holding % = 8699545/187460439 = 4.64%
How presisely controlled!
If you do the calculation on the accumulation from the announcement where MUFJ became 5% holder, the average price they spent would be over $6, there is no reason for them sell the major holding.
They just have done what is needed to close the 'shorts' and even purchase a little bit more with the low ball price.
