yeh, I guess they all have their positives and negatives. and there is no perfect CEO. When all is well the negatives tend to be hidden and so investors (and CEOs themselves) start to think they are supermen. When setbacks arise you tend to get the opposite reaction and all he positives are forgotten about and suddenly they are useless. I suppose it is important to look at what is within the CEO's control and what the outcome would have been if things had turned out differently. Certainly if a CEO is around for long enough then sooner or later some issue is going to arise that they don't deal with well.
