Perpetual was a long term victim of the Soul Parts / Brickworks refusal to demerge. It knows that Link and it's refusal to divest PEXA will lead to the same outcome - the long term destruction of shareholder value and a persistent 30-40% discount to the fair value of the company.
Perpetual doesn't want to fall victim again to the same pathetic board self interest with Link.
