Today's announcement was interesting from a K & J O perspective.
If the deal goes ahead and the only two networks likely to bid for their contracts (at the salary they are currently accustomed to) are owned by the same masters, it kinda negates any bargaining chip the duo has when trying to negotiate for their next contract period.
Personally, I can't stand them or the other high profile 'duos' on air. I'd be happy to see the back of them, but the PTB obviously believe they are still cash cows, so...
