I'm a bit disappointed to see Souls leaving the register (I'd image they will sell down the remaining 3 percent shortly) as I had hoped they might be a catalyst for change at some point. Another potential idea to think about here is a merger between TGP and TOT rather than a privatisation. TGP is already going to creep even further up the register due to the buyback and you'd think the free float is going to become so small that it's hardly worth being a public REIT. The merged co would have significantly more scale and more flexibility to take on opportunities. If you look at the history of 360 that's really been when they are at their best being opportunistic jumping in and out of other small REITS rather than long term holders of assets.
