I can't believe people are willing to sell their shares for $31c! It's the same as those who sold CXO early days for 0.05c. Companies like WAM above make an absolute fortune out of manipulating the price of low volume/low liquidity shares, and by shorting it. The shorting magically dies off just before the announcement.
The best defense against this is to hold on to your shares. Don't panic sell, because that's their cash-cow. If the fundamentals haven't changed, there's basically no reason to sell.
Keeping in mind this data is a week old. This stuff is still legal in our poorly regulated system - the players can put their positions, then manipulate the price (easily) down to trigger a sell-off. This particular player already had a huge position to short from, essentially delta-hedging on the way down. Dirty stuff, but again - so glad to see them drop their position with WIN.
