As you stated, IMO UBS is not doing this (shortening) for a couple of pips on an illikvid stock, so my guess is this is for a client capping our stock. That client remains to be seen. My best guess since we have not seen any announcement re substantial holder notice is it is for a Chinese client (who has bought over several accounts).
All IMO and time will tell in 1-3 months (as in a hostile take over).
