I agree entirely, there are really sensible prospects to drill and evaluate but it has to be done scientifically, logically and methodically.
My concern is for the punters who do not take the time to evaluate the situation like you have done, and are simply sucked in by the glitzy announcements. These are the ones who end up unwittingly providing their hard earned dollars.
I have suggested before that all should read Trevor Sykes (Pip-Pip Pierpont) book, The Money Miners, written in 1978. The story there is the basic reason that the industry implemented the JORC code of conduct.
