    The announcement only discloses Borrowed and Returned positions, mot bought and sold. So the transactions that resulted in the reduction in B of A's postion are a net return.

    Of course yesterdays GROSS short position sold on the ASX were....

    481,274 FPO 697,247,997 Total Issue .06 %

    so someone is still betting on a negative outcome
