@chavoc - I stand corrected - Dr William Garner was the PRIOR CEO. My mistake.
I had him confused with Dr. Glass. And of course Dr. Glass isn't the CEO either... that would be Greg Collier. Apart from that I was spot on...
This is why you should always DYOR and never rely on HC posters to do it for you - regardless of how well intentioned or (seemingly) well-informed they may be.
I got my figures from CommSec who had Dr William Garner listed as the (only) top 20 shareholder as of July 2014 with 57M shares or 10.x% of the company.
They show 3 sales by him since then, comprising the total of his holding.
So - re-reading the announcement - I believe he sold his last parcel (~21M) of shares in April but did it after the rights issue - so he was entitled to 2 for every 7 shares (~6M) - and elected to take up ~3.5M of them.
Based on my previous confident assertions though you may wish to check this information for yourself!
