Just musing over a lunch and while loathe to jump to any hasty conclusions;
The pieces in play make one wonder whether with Australia's largest listed company in the middle of a compliance shitstorm and trialing Intiger for a mission critical application with a heavy focus on compliance are pleased with the reduced influence and position of the (interesting) former Director.
One must assume the Company were fully aware of the optics of the situation.
All just noise but fun to speculate nonetheless.
