I am a novice however this issue has been discussed in detail on another unrelated regtech forum.
The asx compliance form 'ceasing to be a substantial holder' can be misleading and different scenarios may apply. One of the instances for this notice to be given is if the shareholding held is no longer 5%. There are other instances - one is simply changes to a major shareholding up or down and there are other explanations.
If you access this https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/bub and then look at top 20 shareholders which has jd com listed with 11.9% of the company shares at 32,626,800 shares - at a quick glance and tally, it does not appear that jd have sold their full entitlement of shares.
I will look into this more tomorrow and apologies for rushing this email but at a very quick glance of the pdf asx announcement it doesn't appear that 32 million shares have been sold.
