Surely you recognise how a medical test for a life threatening condition isn't like an app. You can't release it knowing it doesn't work as advertised and then go "LOL sorry u guys died because of a false negative cancer diagnosis, we'll fix that in the next patch.".
If you did more research on the history of the company you would know they are doing scenario 1 (responsibly too I might add). Don't forget their original flagship product was lung cancer tests. When the lung results indicated more research was needed and sent them back to the drawing board they went down the path toward quickest commercialisation by pushing ahead with ovarian.
Investing in Biotech means understanding that Biotech takes time and in terms of where this particular company is going, as a LTH I'd value the director's investment of years, their expertise and vision over the wishes of anonymous traders who've bought in and want to see quick returns in 12 months.
