The impact of the production hit at Gwalia will have an impact to the cash balances (lower cash contribution but certainly not negative) but with the rising gold price, I think there is will more than enough to cover the dividend. I guess Bob will need to balance the impact of reporting a lower div vs lower NPAT. He's already stated that there's no change to the div policy so perhaps he'll just take the NPAT hit on the chin and move on.

Who knows, he may have already promised the inso investors and underwriters that he'll keep up the 8cps final div (even after the issuance of more shares).
