Hongkongers with real wealth have been bailing for months. Cashing out and heading out is the prudent thing to do. Dictator Xi probably is ready to reach into Hong Kong with the little red hands of the Communist Party of China to stifle any hope of anything other than the dictatorial police state of Emperor Xi's mainland China. The district election results were a bit of a shock tp Peking. Why in the world would anyone stay when they can join 100s of thousands of Hongkongers in Hongcouver, Canada. And wealthy Hongkongers virtually can buy citizenship for their families in both the US and Canada for mere pocket change for the deep-pocketed. This cashing out of LYC shares by Honkongers certainly is part of the reason for the steady decline in SP of late and that process presumably has more to go. For those with more than a few weeks investing time horizon, might be getting close to the time to pick up some discounted shares. But pity the Hongkongers who were lied to by the British cowards--"One country, two systems" sure, you bet.
