We all know MYR's second half to 31 July is always worse than the first half. It's not helped by politicians like Daniel Andrews who imposed a five day lockdown that in Melbourne hit Valentine's Day sales, but at least this morning's employment figures that 'smashed analysts' expectations' on the upside - overall employment is back to (just) above pre-COVID-19 levels - show it's not all doom and gloom.
Some sectors remain badly hit such as accommodation and other tourism, plus hospitality though
